A very exciting and rare part-time role has come up to join the Low Hall the Lakes team as we are looking for a highly motivated Wedding and Events Coordinator. Looking after couples from the moment they enquire, throughout their planning journey, to coordinating their big day and organising everything behind the scenes as well. Ensuring LHTLs couples really do love every minute of their wedding, from planning, to partying, to waving goodbye.
?Working alongside us, the owners; Francesca and Ben, our Wedding and Events Manager Rosie and our brilliant team, with heaps of enthusiasm, a flair for creativity and a keen eye for detail, youll be fully integrated into Low Hall helping with the overall running of each event. The care and enjoyment of couples and guests must be at the forefront of your mind at all times and ingrained in your actions as well as the drive to uphold the high standards of Low Hall. Taking pride in our bespoke & beautiful venue and the events you help create.
Duties
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences for their wedding day.
Show prospective couples around the venue with a knowledgeable yet welcoming manner.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure all arrangements are executed seamlessly.
Manage timelines and schedules to guarantee punctuality and smooth progression of the event.
Upsell additional services for an even greater wedding weekend.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of the wedding
Provide exceptional guest services during the event, addressing any issues promptly and professionally with a friendly approachable demeanour.
Assist with planning and execution of other events, wedding related and non.
Maintain detailed records of client preferences, contracts, and payment schedules.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all stages of planning and execution.
Qualifications
Experience in weddings, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel environments is essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a friendly yet professional tone.
Demonstrated ability in upselling services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
A proactive attitude with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
