We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operations Manager to support our Leeds Depot (WF6 1RY) on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will work cross-functionally to foster a culture of excellence. Your role will be vital to the success and growth of our logistics operations.
Job Details:
* Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager
* Location: Leeds Depot (WF6 1RY)
* Contract: Full-time, Permanent
* Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a culture of aspiration and excellence to enable the site to deliver the OGSM.
* Embed Mller Excellence and deliver high performance through PMS principles and KPI management.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and industry partners to maximize performance and identify synergies.
* Assist in preparing the annual budget following GO principles and monitor deviations.
* Lead change initiatives and projects with effective problem-solving and facilitation skills.
* Foster a culture that promotes OE opportunities, process improvements, customer service, and best practices.
* Drive volume growth and manage the function’s cost center.
* Oversee contingency planning and incident control.
* Demonstrate health and safety leadership, embedding the Mller safety culture.
* Ensure process, legal, and audit compliance.
* Exhibit strong leadership through coaching, mentoring, and people management.
* Manage performance reviews, employee development, coaching, and relations.
* Create succession plans to support organizational growth.
* Promote MMI Distribution behaviors across all levels.
* Qualified DTAS auditor.
* Drive a best-in-class service model by addressing customer service impacts.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Warehouse operational experience (required)
* Warehouse/Transport startup experience (required)
* CPC National holder (Transport only)
* Experience in accident/incident investigation
* Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills
* Commercial focus with a drive for volume growth
* Leadership capability through coaching, mentoring, and management
* Qualified DTAS auditor (desirable)
