Job Description
* Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Processing payroll for c. 1,000 staff.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to payroll.
* Maintain and update payroll systems, addressing any system-related issues.
* Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to reconcile payroll reports.
* Handle employee queries related to payroll and provide timely resolutions.
* Generate and distribute payslips and other payroll-related documentation.
* Prepare payroll reports for management review and decision-making.
* Support the implementation of new payroll procedures and systems as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Manager should have:
* Proven experience in payroll management within a professional environment.
* Strong understanding of payroll systems and software.
* Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data responsibly.
