Adult’s Social Worker, Mental Health Team, Southampton Pay rate to £35 per hour Contract role, Mental Health Team Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Worker in Southampton. This is to work in a Mental Health Team The role is with the Mental Wellbeing Service. Core duties are working with adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health and/or substance use. Core duties are within the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act - completion of care act assessments, s117 discharge planning, reviews, safeguarding and duty cover. MWS is a team of 16 practitioners consisting of qualified social workers and independence advisors. We work across a range of external agencies including HIOW healthcare and the ICB. We work with internal colleagues across other teams including adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and aged over 65. AMHP is not required.
