The Role
Teacher of PE (Part‑time 0.5 FTE Maternity Cover)
Morrison’s Academy is a vibrant independent school committed to fostering academic and co‑cultural excellence. We are seeking a Teacher of PE to join our department and cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will inspire young people to achieve their best and nurture an enthusiasm for physical development.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver Physical Education lessons for students up to and including NAT 5.
* Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to engage pupils across the age range.
* Assess and record pupil progress and provide timely feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to integrate PE across the curriculum and support co‑curricular activity planning.
* Maintain accurate student records and support school assessments.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree for the teaching of Physical Education up to and including NAT 5.
* Registered with GTC Scotland or eligible for registration.
