As they continue to expand, they are seeking a talented Financial Reporting Manager to join our high-performing team.The Role As Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality,pliant statutory accounts and financial reporting. You will lead a dedicated team, manageplex financial instrument models, and act as a key liaison with auditors,ernment bodies, and industry stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant with a passion for continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the preparation and sign-off of statutory accounts, ensuringpliance and timely delivery.
2. Manage the Financial Reporting team and oversee IFRS 9 & IFRS 13pliant models for expected credit loss and fair value.
3. Provide technical accounting expertise, translatingplex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Advise on new lending products and changes to loan terms, ensuring appropriate accounting treatment.
5. Liaise with auditors, actuaries, ratings agencies, andernment/industry bodies.
6. Contribute to the Financial Control Managers team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver projects to enhancepliance and reporting standards.
8. Gather and share industry intelligence to ensure best practice in financial reporting.
About You
9. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with around 5 years’ post-qualification experience.
10. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS 7, 9, and 13, ideally gained in a financial institution,ernment body, or large audit firm.
11. Proven ability to explainplex accounting issues clearly to a range of stakeholders.
12. Experience managing or developing credit risk and fair value models.
13. Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating teams.
14. Excellent planning, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.
15. Strongmunication and stakeholder management abilities.
