Our Head Office is based in Stockton-on-Tees and is home to our administrative support teams, engineering & maintenance support team & energy services teams. The Offices are located on the river Tees with close access to walks, shops and restaurants.
The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for an ICT Support Specialist.
In this role you will provided the business with an extremely high level of ICT support & project management services.
The role holder will maintain high levels of safety, availability and reliability for ICT services, by ensuring the effective and accurate provision of a diverse range of ICT duties, in order to support the px business as a whole in achieving ICT goals and objectives.
You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage, support, and develop the px ICT helpdesk, policies, procedures, reports, and protocols to meet business, customer, and statutory requirements.
* Provide end-user and technical support to px ICT users at HQ and operational sites via email, phone, remote management tools, or in person, including site travel when necessary.
* Oversee comprehensive asset management across all assigned sites.
* Collaborate with ICT Department and site teams to maintain high levels of safety, availability, and reliability for ICT hardware and software.
* Ensure the effective delivery of administrative and support duties, including 1st and 2nd line ICT helpdesk support, hardware/software installation and upgrades, asset management
* Actively support ICT projects and strategic activities led by the Service Delivery team.
* Provide telecoms support, including Mitel IP, voice recording, and mobile phones.
* Manage and support px corporate tools, including, Microsoft products, Active Directory, Ivanti (Service Desk & Central Management Console), CMMS, SAP Business One, Office 365, AutoCAD, Meraki Portal, Group Policy & multi-vendor printing estate
* Proven helpdesk and 2nd line support experience
* Skilled in software installation, upgrades, and general application support
* Experience with hardware builds, installations, and upgrades
* Hands-on experience with network support, installation, and maintenance
