SEN Tutor Salary: £25 - £35 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) Create and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles Assist students in developing academic and social skills Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Required Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Knowledge of SEN legislation and best practises Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different learning needs and abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to create engaging and effective learning materials Patience and empathy when working with students Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g., autism, dyslexia) Working Conditions: Part-time hours, flexible schedule Work closely with students, parents, and school staff Supportive and inclusive educational environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
