Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Maintenance
Porton Down, Salisbury Full Time | Monday – Friday | 8 Hours Per Day Contract Until December 2026
We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a long-term project based in Porton Down near Salisbury. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, carrying out building services maintenance across the site.
Key Duties:
o General building services maintenance
o Plumbing maintenance and repairs
o Toilet and tap repairs
o Reactive maintenance including unblocking toilets when required
o AHU (Air Handling Unit) maintenance
o Pipework repairs
o Steam system experience desirable
Requirements:
o Previous experience within mechanical/building services maintenance
o Strong plumbing and reactive maintenance background
o AHU and steam experience highly desirable
o DBS clearance preferred due to site security requirements
