In the role of Curriculum Lead you'll predominantly be based at Dewsbury District Hospital and your focus will be on co-ordinating the programme, which is designed to support young people with SEND into employment. You will be supported by two job coaches and work in partnership with the local authority and other members of the Project Search team. You will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering an employability curriculum and will use job coaching techniques to support young people's development. You will need a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy, a teaching qualification and/or evidence of training in Systematic Instruction and a relevant up to date qualification at Level 3 or above. You will have extensive experience of working with students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities including ASD, as well as experience of working with employers and other external stakeholders and demonstrate our College values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
