Assistant Manager – Support and Lead with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

Where You’ll Be Working
Located next to the River Stour in the heart of the beautiful medieval town of Sandwich, Kent, the Bell Hotel has been welcoming guests to the town since Tudor times. Having undergone extensive refurbishment in recent years, the historic riverside retreat offers guests a luxurious experience with 21st-century comforts. Sandwich is also a magnet for golfers, with Royal St George’s and Prince’s golf clubs on its doorstep.
What You’ll Do
* Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing duties.
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
* Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
* Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
* Contribute ideas to improve service and business performance.
