* Hourly pay rate: £15 an hour
About the Client
The client is a 34‑year‑old young man, graduate, intelligent, physically very fit, who can walk for miles and is perfectly capable of looking after his own physical needs. Iatrogenic brain injury in 2017 has left him with short‑term memory and complex executive function issues, and a compulsion to walk and phonic tics – the intensity varies with diet, caffeine and stress. He can understand instructions, play video or card games, but not have a detailed conversation about them. He loves music, rap, dogs, snooker, archery, quad biking and music festivals, though he almost never does any of them. He was highly sociable before injury and still thrives in company with peers.
Person(s) Needed
* Youthful – ideally similar age to him – female or male.
* Positive and energetic, who wants to have fun and enjoy seeing their client happily engaging with activities/people that rebuild his confidence, cognitive focus and executive function.
