Pay Rate: £ 44,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday
Location: Hatfield, AL10 8XF
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a CI Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
Working as part of the continuous improvement team, the CI Manager will be responsible for the completion of various continuous improvement driven activities in the Warehousing Sector in accordance with established procedures. The scope of the role typically includes the use of CI tools including VSM, Six Sigma, DMAIC, to generate operational improvements and deliver cost savings for DHL and our customers.
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
1. Support the team to make various continuous improvement methodologies across site.
2. Delivery of best practice and identification / liaison with internal customers on new initiatives to drive down costs and/or improve efficiencies and develop effective solutions to realise them.
3. Present process and output to key customers internal and external
4. Work with site management to develop a robust plan for the delivery of agreed or contractual improvement targets aligned to account strategy
5. Develop value stream maps identifying opportunities to improve business processes across both operational and functional disciplines
6. Work with operational teams to generate continuous improvement
7. Facilitate and support change programmes.
8. Presenting data to senior Leadership team and customers.

9. Previous experience working within a supply chain environment
10. Demonstrable experience in a similar CI focused role
11. Previous experience of influencing and leading teams
12. Exceptional and demonstrable record of delivering against targets
13. Strong analytical and numerical skills
14. Previous experience within change management
15. Use of CI tools VSM, Six Sigma, DMAIC
16. Good communication skills (verbal and written)
