Mixing Room Operative - Located in South Rd, Ellesmere Port, CH65 4LD
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Mixing/Blending Operative to become a key part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation & Understanding: Quickly learn and operate all aspects of tasks within the mixing/blending department. Handle potentially hazardous materials with full training and Personal Protective Equipment provided.
* Communication: Maintain good, clear, and concise communication at all times to ensure smooth operations.
* Cleaning: Regularly clean and maintain the mixing/blending equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
* Manual Handling: Lift and tip bags and buckets of fertilisers (up to 25kg) into hoppers as part of the blending process.
* Additional Duties: Undertake any other reasonable duties within the plant as requested.
Key Skills and Attributes:
* Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable with basic computer operations.
* Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, with the ability to cross-reference and check for accuracy. Willingness to challenge and have understanding challenged.
* Quick Learner: Ability to swiftly acquire new skills and adapt to various tasks.
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities and commitment to good housekeeping practices.
* Flexibility & Attitude: A flexible work approach with a positive "can do" attitude.
Hours of Work:
* Week 1 : 6.00am - 2.00pm ( Monday - Thursday )
* Week 2 : 2.00pm pm (Monday - Thursday) and 2.00pm - 8.00pm (Friday)
