Your new company
This council has a fantastic reputation for being pro-development and the service has won numerous awards recently. The Development Management team are good at supporting each other and the turnover of permanent staff is low.
Your new role
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of applications including complex minor applications and small scale major applications. Cases will include overseeing a backlog of planning applications as well as the management of live applications within the statutory timeframes.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have worked within a UK-based LPA and preferably in London. You must have a relevant Town Planning qualification and be able to work in the UK as sponsorship can not be offered. You must have development management experience and have good communication skills to deal with various internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll get in return
This will be an ongoing contract expected to be extended past 6 months. The hourly rate is competitive and based on relevant experience would be circa £27ph to £30ph.
