Electrician Location: Colchester - covering sites around east england inclduing locations such as Ipswich & Basildon Salary: £42-44k per annum Employment Type: Perm Sector: Domestic/Commercial About the Role We're looking for a reliable and experienced Electrician to join a facilities team responsible for keeping busy sites running smoothly. The role is a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical repairs, covering a range of building services and general electrical systems. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine EICR tests across domestic properties Respond quickly to reactive maintenance tasks and electrical faults Diagnose and repair issues on lighting, power, distribution boards, motors, and controls Support with minor installation, upgrades and small works when required Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with compliance standards Keep clear and accurate documentation of maintenance and repairs Work with site teams, contractors and other engineers to maintain safe operation of the building Requirements NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation or Maintenance 18th Edition 2391 Test & inspection Experience in facilities maintenance, commercial, or building services environments Good fault-finding skills across general electrical systems Strong comm...
