We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to work in Stanhoe Ward as a Healthcare Assistant.
Stanhoe Ward is a 32-bedded acute medical ward that specialises in caring for patients who are acutely unwell or have infectious diseases.
Successful candidates will attend the Healthcare Assistant GROW Programme for full training, which includes mandatory training for all clinical staff and the Caring with Kindness programme, focusing on patient experience. The course is practical, providing ample time to practice new skills before starting the role.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work cooperatively as part of the multidisciplinary team supporting patient care.
* Understand your responsibilities and accountability in relation to registered staff.
* Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, patients, families, visitors, and carers.
* Demonstrate understanding of Duty of Care and its importance for safe practice.
* Assist with personal care for patients as required.
* Undertake competency-based practices after appropriate training and supervision, delegated by a registered nurse.
* Identify learning needs and develop personal development plans with your line manager.
