Senior System Modelling Engineer | Fareham
This position is well-suited for a practical, detail-oriented engineer who enjoys working across modeling, systems evaluation, and hardware-focused experimentation. You will contribute significantly to the development of next-generation human–machine interaction technologies through both in-depth research and hands-on engineering work.
The Role:
+Contribute to the investigation, design, and specification of mixed-signal front-end blocks through simulation work and prototype development.
+Carry out analytical studies, system-level modeling, and simulation activities.
+Assist in the implementation, integration, and verification of algorithms.
+Help develop next-generation touch-sensing methods aligned with the overall technology strategy.
Key Skills and Experience:
+Demonstrated background in system-level modelling and simulation for sophisticated architectures.
+Strong expertise in digital signal processing.
+Thorough understanding of ASIC development, mixed-signal architectures, and associated analysis toolchains.
+Skilled in using version-control platforms (such as Git or Subversion) and comfortable working within Agile workflows.
Educational Requirements:
+MSc or PhD in electronics engineering or signal processing-related subjects
+BEng or MEng in Engineering, Electronics or related subjects (upper second class or equivalent)
+5+ years post-graduate experience in engineering.
