The Vacancy
WGM Engineering is one of Scotland's leading engineering solution providers, delivering high‑quality Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering services under one roof. We are now looking to recruit experienced Project Managers to join our Offsite Engineering Division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality engineering projects from concept through to handover.

About The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the coordination, design, and delivery of a portfolio of projects. You will ensure all works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your leadership will be vital in driving collaboration between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop detailed project plans, ensuring effective resource allocation.
* Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget, adhering to all HSEQ standards.
* Build strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
* Attend meetings with clients, design teams, and subcontractors as required.
* Manage and uphold Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality processes across sites.
* Ensure accurate documentation of HSEQ processes within office and site teams.
* Oversee daily onsite operations, maintaining safe and efficient working practices.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors for successful project delivery.
* Identify and mitigate project risks.
* Provide buildability input to Pre‑Construction teams.
* Collaborate with Clients, Sub‑Contractors, Design, Pre‑Construction and Commercial teams.
* Contribute to programme management, ensuring effective interface with other projects.
* Support commissioning, handover, and final acceptance planning.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

* 2–3 years' experience in a Project Management role within a similar engineering environment.
* A qualification in an engineering discipline (highly desirable).
* Experience within the water or wastewater sector (advantageous).
* A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel to sites across the country.
