About the role
–Care to Classroom Support Workers are required across a range of specialist SEND schools and settings in Birmingham, supporting pupils with autism, complex learning needs, and behavioural challenges. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with experience in care, residential, support work, or similar sectors who are looking to apply their skills within an educational environment. In this role, you will provide tailored support to pupils both in and out of the classroom, assisting with personal care where required, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students engage with their learning. Working within nurturing and structured school settings, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.

The desired Care to Classroom Support Worker will have -
To be considered for the Care to Classroom Support Worker, you will:
Hold suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
