Job Title: HGV Mechanic (Nights)
Location: Heywood facility
Working Hours
1800 to 0600, 4 on 4 off night shift, averaging 40.25 hours/week. Pay rate: £17.98/hour, with additional weekly allowances including a £40 irregular shift allowance and £44 night shift allowance.
Role Responsibilities
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
* Maintain, repair, and service units and trailers to MOT standards
* Ensure vehicle cleaning meets standards before MOT
* Deal with nationwide breakdowns
Candidate Requirements
* Experience with maintenance and MOT on HGVS
* Class 1 license preferred
* Knowledge of electrical instrumentation and safety compliance
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills, and attention to detail
