With a solid senior management structure and a well-established portfolio of care homes, the group are in the process of commissioning a new-build from the ground up. With this new home comes the opportunity for a new leader to join the team. The client are looking to find a Commissioning Manager who will not only open the home to the public but lead the growth of the service in the coming years. This role will suit someone from a commissioning background who is keen to recruit and develop their own team. Candidate Ideally, my client are looking for a nurse qualified candidate (RGN / RMN / RNLD) but are open to receiving applications from non-nurse managers with a rich history of managing nursing care homes to a 'GOOD' CQC rating. A background in commissioning would be preferred, with a strong understanding of the local area but essential to the role is previous experience as a Care Home Manager. You’ll have managed services providing nursing, residential and dementia care and have a keen eye for detailed care plans, budgets and medication management. As a leader, you’ll demonstrate good understanding of quality and governance and be able to inspire good practice within the team. With the service entirely new, this role offers the opportunity to build your own team from scratch and implement great care from the beginning. You’ll work with external stakeholders and support the development of the home, through the gradual admission of residents to the person-centred care delivered there. You’ll have a strong business acumen, understanding of CQC regulations and be able to strategize the growth of the care home.
