Junior Clinical Fellow in General Surgery

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Surgery at the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital site. This posts is designed to support both emergency and elective services across the surgical division.
This post holder will sit on the SHO rota with support from the Registrar and Consultant team.
Main duties of the job
* Assisting in theatres and clinics to expected level.
* Clinical duties on the wards include requesting and monitoring diagnostics.
* Allocated academic project and supervisor for the duration of the post.
* Out of hours cover.

Qualifications
* GMC registration with a licence to practice
* MRCS or Part 1
* NHS Experience
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of General Surgery at F1 / F2 level
* Completion of core surgical training programme
* Experience of publications and presentations
Skills and Ability
* Good organisation and time management skills
* Evidence of surgical experience
* Experience in research and audit
