An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward thinking, design, distribution and installation company specializing in steel flooring throughout the UK. Operating out of modern offices in Chepstow, the company is looking to enhance the Sales and Estimating team with the addition of a new Estimator. The successful candidate will be working in a team of three with plenty of career opportunities. Responsibilities: Analysing tender documents for a wide variety of projects. Measuring drawings, using an estimating software program and producing a schedule of quantities. Liaising with external suppliers to obtain material costs. Preparing cost estimates. Producing design calculations using a technical software program. Essential Skills: Good computing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel. Good numeracy skills. Good attention to detail and accuracy (vital). Good organisation skills - being able to work methodically and prioritise workload are also essential. A willingness to actively liaise with other members of staff and customers when necessary. Full in-house training will be provided. Working Hours: Monday 8.30am – 5.00pm Tuesday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm Friday 8.00am – 3.00pm
