Domiciliary Carer
Pay rate £13.75 - £16.25 per hour. Driver's licence required.
As a Professional hourly Carer on a guaranteed hours contract, you will make a genuine difference by providing hourly care and companionship in clients' homes. We support you with CQC ‘outstanding’ team support, specialist training and 24/7 on‑call support.
What you will do
* Support clients with personal care, continence management and medication administration
* Carry out light housework and prepare healthy meals
* Accompany clients to appointments, social outings and pursue their interests and hobbies
* Deliver specialised care for conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and end of life care
* Travel between residences and cover short periods of time as needed

Qualifications
* A minimum of 6 months' professional care experience (care home, nursing home, healthcare assistant, domiciliary care, etc.)
* Household management skills (cleaning, hoovering, keeping a tidy home)
* Excellent English language skills – comprehension, spoken and written
* Physically fit, able to carry shopping bags, meal trays and handle moving and handling with necessary equipment
* Ability to work within allocated time
* Professionally presented, reliable and punctual
* Works as part of a multidisciplinary team with consistently high quality service
* IT skills – ability to use a computer/laptop and online systems
* Vaccinated or medically exempt (currently only accepting applications from these groups)
