Terumo Aortic are currently looking to recruit an Equipment Engineering Lead for a fixed term basis of months. This is an excellent opportunity to join a truly global business and make a real difference. Excellent opportunity for career development whilst working with an excellent team.

The main responsibilities of the role are;

1. Carry out routine checks and maintenance on process and test equipment
2. Carry out repairs and modifications to process and test equipment
3. Manufacture and assemble new equipment to meet required specifications and comply with H&S standards
4. Carry out or co-ordinate the safe installation of new equipment
5. Contribute to the design and development of new equipment
6. Identify cost saving opportunities in materials and equipment parts and own the validation of changes to capitalise on these opportunities
7. Perform equipment calibrations and preventative & reactive maintenance
8. Support equipment and process validations in collaboration with manufacturing engineering team
9. Develop, maintain and improve equipment performance related KPl's
10. Participate in required QMS audits and ensure appropriate actions are taken in relation to audit findings
11. Maintain equipment asset information, spares requirements and asset replacement strategy
12. Perform any other duties/tasks/projects as require by management
13. Assume other reasonable responsibilities from time-to-time in order to support plant’s strategic plan and personal career plans
14. Supervise assigned engineers within the Equipment engineering team, to ensure individual allocated tasks are met within agreed timescales, allocating tasks to team members as appropriate.
15. Develop and train Equipment Engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing across all business areas, equipment types and specialities.
16. Provide leadership, guidance and forecasting for business calibration requirements

The successful candidate will possess;

18. Minimum Degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering discipline or relevant industry experience
19. Experience of maintaining a wide range of process equipment
20. Competent in the use of CMMS systems
21. Knowledge of statistical tools and MS Office applications
