Morson Edge are currently working on behalf of a well-established consultancy in Leeds to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to join the team of our client.
About the Company
Our client is a progressive and well-established consultancy offering a comprehensive range of services, including quantity surveying, project management, and CDM advisory. They work across multiple sectors, with a strong focus on retail, commercial/office, leisure, and residential developments, while also delivering on a broad mix of other project types.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to take on a varied role, providing expert cost consultancy across a number of projects. You will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, collaborating closely with clients and wider project teams to help ensure successful outcomes.
Key Requirements
Essential:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* At least 3 years' experience working within a consultancy setting
* Solid knowledge of cost control and project delivery processes
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients
Desirable:
* Working towards MRICS or currently enrolled on the APC pathway
* Experience within sectors such as retail, commercial, leisure, or residential
Personal Attributes:
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Self-motivated and proactive in approach
* Able to work independently as well as part of a team
* Commercially astute with a practical, problem-solving mindset
