Job Description
As a Decorator, you will be responsible for a variety of decorating tasks across our premises, ensuring a high standard of finish and maintaining the aesthetic appeal.
The decorating team is crucial to the upkeep and presentation across our state-of-the-art properties by ensuring a welcoming environment for our visitors.
You will work both independently and as part of a small team, managing your workload efficiently and to a high standard.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a painter and decorator or an expert in high-end residential property development.
* Proficiency in a range of decorating techniques and the ability to use associated tools and equipment.
* Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good understanding of health and safety practices within a building environment.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Ability to interpret and execute intricate design briefs and specifications.
* NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating.
Additional Information
* Preparing surfaces for painting and decorating, including filling cracks, sanding, and priming.
* Applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and woodwork using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
* Adhering to decorating specifications and instructions.
* Carrying out minor repairs to plasterwork and woodwork as required.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Working collaboratively with other members of the Facilities team.
