On behalf of a client based in the West Midlands, we are currently recruiting for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join a growing and well-established Building Management Systems specialist.
The role is primarily office-based from the Birmingham head office, with regular visits to live project sites for meetings, coordination, and progress reviews. The majority of projects are located within the West Midlands, with occasional work outside the region (all travel expenses paid).
Key Duties:
1. Manage BMS projects from post-quotation through design, installation, commissioning, and final handover, with values up to £1m
2. Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring quality, programme, and budget targets are achieved
3. Produce and manage all project documentation, including technical submittals, drawings, descriptions of operation, reports, and O&M manuals
4. Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet agreed milestones
5. Maintain design integrity and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during commissioning
6. Control project costs, producing accurate three-month forecasts and financial reports
