National Account Executive – Leading Wine Distributor – South of England (Hybrid)
Base salary up to £50,000 plus a bonus of up to 30% and travel expenses. A £500 product budget allowance is included.
We are seeking a driven and ambitious National Account Executive to join our Grocery team. You will support key national customers including Asda, Morrisons, Booths and Waitrose, reporting to the Sales Director. Your role will involve managing major grocery accounts, building relationships, and driving sales performance through promotional planning and effective customer support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the day‑to‑day management of major grocery retail accounts.
* Plan and analyse promotional activities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
* Forecast sales and produce detailed reporting.
* Update internal systems and maintain accurate account data.
* Prepare customer presentations and commercial proposals.
* Support joint business planning activities.
* Analyse sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
* Assist the National Account Manager team with customer meetings and commercial administration.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in an account executive, commercial, sales support, or FMCG role.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
* Confidence working with data, forecasts and presentations.
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
* Positive, can‑do attitude with a desire to progress within commercial sales.
* Passion for the drinks, FMCG or grocery sector is advantageous.
