Are you a passionate, experienced clinician ready to take your leadership impact to the next level? We’re excited to offer a fantastic internal opportunity to join the Integrated Contact Centre (ICC) as a Clinical Service Delivery Manager, playing a pivotal role at the heart of NHS 111 and 999 clinical operations.

As a senior clinical leader within ICC, you’ll ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-focused care for thousands of callers across our service lines. You’ll balance clinical oversight, operational grip, and people leadership—making a visible difference every single day.

This role is ideal for someone with strong clinical credibility, proven leadership experience, and a passion for quality, safety, and developing others. NMC or HCPC registration and experience with NHS Pathways are essential.

Corporate Induction

It’s really important for us to ensure you have the best onboarding experience which allows you to feel a sense of belonging from the start. To help with this, we will book your Corporate Induction as soon as we possibly can (depending on availability).

All new starters need to attend our *Corporate Induction in person, this is held over one and half days from our educational centres based in: Newbury (Berkshire), Bicester (Oxfordshire) or Whiteley (Hampshire). More specific details will be sent to you once your start date has been confirmed.

*Please note – depending on your role additional training may be required following on from your corporate induction.


Detailed job description and main responsibilities

What you'll be doing

· Leading and inspiring Clinical Shift Leads and ICC clinicians

· Providing expert clinical supervision and assurance across 111/999 services

· Championing clinical governance, safety, and quality improvement

· Supporting day-to-day operational decision-making and demand surges

· Reviewing and improving clinical assessment software

· Driving staff development, engagement, and succession planning

· Working closely with Trust colleagues and health economy partners

· Contributing to service redesign, innovation, and transformation initiatives

Qualifications


Essential criteria

* Current NMC registration (first-level nurse) or HCPC registration.
* Degree in a clinically related discipline or equivalent experience of working in clinical roles
* Masters degree or equivalent


Knowledge


Essential criteria

* Experience with NHS Pathways and current Pathways license.
* Proven leadership and management experience.
* Highly developed clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
* Understanding of clinical governance, risk management and safeguarding.


Skills


Essential criteria

* Ability to communicate effectively: aurally, orally and in writing.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work.
* Ability to remain calm while working under pressure.
* Sympathetic, respectful and caring approach to others.
* Computer literacy.
