Job Opportunity: Youth Mental Health Worker

A fantastic school in the Swindon district is looking for a recent graduate to collaborate with their specialist teachers to support students with significant social, emotional, and mental health needs throughout their educational journey.
As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will provide students with a safe space to discuss their challenges and offer suggestions on managing them healthily. You will also gain experience in identifying potential triggers for students and learn how to approach these triggers effectively.
The school seeks a committed, confident, and well-educated candidate who can bring enthusiasm and empathy into the classroom. Ideally, the successful applicant will have excellent behaviour management skills and relevant educational background (such as Psychology, Criminology, Health and Social Care degrees). Experience in any environment is valuable. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside therapists, behaviour management consultants, and psychologists, which can open doors and support your career development in the industry.

* Salary: £80 - £95 per day

Experience working with children or within the SEN community is beneficial but not mandatory.
