Job Summary
You’ll be responsible for carrying out detailed inspections and surveys across a range of premises, including residential blocks, commercial buildings, HMOs, care settings, and public buildings.
Duties
* Conducting Fire Risk Assessments nationwide
* Fire door inspections in line with relevant British Standards and best practice
* Compartmentation surveys (walls, floors, ceilings, service penetrations, risers, voids)
* Identifying defects, non-compliances and safety risks
* Producing clear and professional reports with photos and prioritised actions
* Liaising with clients, contractors and internal teams
* Working in support of fire risk assessments and building safety compliance
Essential
* Level 3 Award in Fire Risk Assessments or Equivalent
* Level 3 Award in Fire Door Inspection or Equivalent
* Level 3 Award in Fire Protection or Equivalent
* Proven experience inspecting fire doors and/or surveying compartmentation
* Strong understanding of passive fire protection and fire safety principles
* Confident using tablets, software and reporting systems
* Excellent attention to detail and a practical, common-sense approach
* Full UK driving license
* Willingness to Travel
