Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) Teacher – West Yorkshire

Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £150 – £200 per day (depending on experience)
Are you a resilient and compassionate teacher with the skills to support young people facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges? We’re working with a dynamic Pupil Referral Unit in West Yorkshire looking for a dedicated PRU Teacher to join their team this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive, structured environment where no two days are the same. You'll be teaching small groups of students who require a tailored approach to learning, helping them to re-engage with education and build brighter futures.
The ideal candidate will have:
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
✔ Experience working in alternative provision or with challenging behaviour
✔ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔ A flexible, empathetic, and trauma-informed approach
✔ A genuine passion for inclusion and pupil development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
