Job Description
The Lending Squad manages the lifecycle of loans from simulation to completion, focusing on total debt amount handling. It delivers value to Financial Institution backoffices, IT areas, and Credit officers by enabling automation and reducing the time to create and maintain diverse loan products via APIs and Events.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Mapping, evaluating, and recording intakes and requirements to deliver value for the Lending Platform’s target customer profile.
2. Building quarterly milestones for the product roadmap and ensuring timely delivery.
3. Generating artifacts that translate valid intakes into clear requirements (User Stories, Journeys, Workflows, One Pagers, Presentations, Spreadsheets).
4. Maintaining the product backlog and roadmap, prioritizing demands from market, business, and internal stakeholders to optimize value delivery.
5. Participating in testing and validation of lending product features.
6. Driving communication and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Collaborating with various teams including Pre Sales, Solutions Architecture, Marketing, Product, and Engineering.
8. Exercising self-directed leadership within the squad.
9. Serving as the main contact for stakeholders regarding the Lending platform’s capabilities.
10. Monitoring the lending business environment and providing input for new feature development.
This is a remote position. While it does not require proximity to a Visa office, occasional presence at a Visa location may be scheduled.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
* Based in the UK
* 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
* At least 3 years in Lending Product environment
* Experience in Agile environments (familiarity with Dual Track, Kanban, Jira, Miro, etc.)
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to learn and teach
* Experience working with technology teams and stakeholders
* Knowledge of APIs, Postman, and AWS cloud computing
* Experience with functional testing
* Proficiency in English (C1 level)
