About the Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Unqualified Electrical Tutor to join our training academy in St Ives. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrical professional ready to share their expertise and help the next generation develop essential trade skills. Full training and support will be provided, making it an excellent step for those looking to transition from industry into teaching.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based sessions to learners working towards electrical qualifications.
2. Support learners through their training journey, ensuring they achieve outstanding results.
3. Provide constructive feedback and assess learner progress in line with awarding body standards.
4. Maintain accurate learner records and contribute to curriculum development where required.
5. Promote a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that encourages achievement and professional growth.
About You
6. Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a related discipline.
7. Possess strong communication and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire learners.
8. Have recent or ongoing industry experience and a genuine passion for developing others.
9. Be eager to undertake teacher training and professional development (funded support provided).
10. Enjoy working in a team-oriented and learner-focused environment.
