We are seeking an experienced
Bookkeeper/Management Accountant,
with exceptional multi-client relationships to be based in our East Midlands office. You will be working as part of the Outsourcing team, processing financial information and producing management accounts for the client.
Your responsibilities:-
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
* Processing clients' financial data into accounting software in a timely and accurate manner.
* Reconciling customer, supplier, and bank accounts to ensure that balances are a true reflection of clients' current financial position.
* Completing and/or reviewing VAT returns
* Preparing fully drafted sets of management accounts with complete working papers for review
* Managing your workflow and client expectations, using your specialist knowledge and skills to add value to the Outsourcing team and engaging with relevant training.
* Developing working relationships with clients and assisting in the completion of work to maximise yield and performance.
About you:-
We think you'll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
* Accounting industry, or Practice experience 3 years minimum
* Have good communication skills, enabling you to work effectively and collaboratively in a team
* Xero software experience strongly desired
* Ability to develop professional and technical knowledge
* Familiarity with accounting software
* AAT qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
