Pure Staff are currently recruiting Van Drivers for a tyre delivery operation based in Erdington, Birmingham.
This is a temporary, ad-hoc role with ongoing work available, ideal for drivers looking for flexible shifts. The role is physically demanding, involving heavy handball and manual handling.
Job Details
1. Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
2. Contract Type: Temporary / Ad-hoc (ongoing work)
3. Start Times/Shift Length: 06:00 (10-12 hours) or 12:00 (5-6 hours)
4. Drops: 10-15 deliveries per shift
5. Duties include:
6. Multi-drop tyre deliveries
7. Heavy handball and manual handling
8. Completing deliveries safely and on time
9. Vehicle checks and basic paperwork
Requirements
10. Minimum age 25+ (for insurance purposes)
11. Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
12. At least 1 year of delivery driving experience
13. Maximum 6 points on licence
14. No major endorsements
15. Physically fit and comfortable with heavy manual work
16. Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Your hourly pay rate is £12.21, and you will accrue £1.47 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave.
