We are recruiting an Accounts Assistant for an acquisitive, forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Chesterfield. This is a newly created role due to business growth / demands. This role will suit someone ready to take their first step into a finance career and is either studying AAT or keen to begin. Competitive salary study support healthcare. Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not be limited to: Updating and maintaining the sales and purchase ledgers. Credit control duties. Bank reconcilations for several bank accounts, including sterling, Euro and US Dollars. Main point of contact between finance and the commercial team. Daily calls with the Sales Team for finance-related information. Other ad hoc duties as required. The person: The successful candidate will have excellent academics, including Maths and English. Good IT skillsare essential. A positive attitude driven by curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn is essential.
