Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Remote
Salary & Benefits: £70,000 + Bonus + Private Medical
Sea Global is proud to partner with one of the UKs leading retail / wholesale organisations. This award-winning business is widely recognised for its industry leadership, outstanding workplace culture, and high-performing procurement team.
With ambitious growth plans and some large initiatives on the horizon, they are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a broad range of indirect category experience to join the business initially on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic procurement activities across indirect spend categories. This is a hands-on opportunity for a proactive individual ready to make an immediate impact and support key projects while the business undergoes a critical phase.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with the procurement team to design and implement effective procurement strategies
* Support the procurement team with daily operations and critical projects
* Develop and drive category and sub-category plans aligned with business objectives
* Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and performance monitoring through KPIs and SLAs
* Build and nurture strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery
Role & Responsibilities:
* Proven experience managing GNFR/Indirect categories e.g. Professional Services, HR, IT, Telecoms, FM, Utilties, etc.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end procurement and contract negotiation best practice
* Experience within a similar sector is a plus but not essential
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across all levels
