Senior Quantity Surveyor - (Water Treatment Projects)
Glanua is an award-winning and innovative contractor providing project solutions for the water and wastewater industry including design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance.
Glanua is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing water and wastewater business in the UK. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the Framework Manager & Project Managers across your assigned projects, ensuring contract administration in line with company procedures and Framework Contract agreements.
Responsibilities:
* Represent the company on commercial matters related to your assigned Framework/Project.
* Support the Framework Manager & Project Managers.
* Participate in commercial reviews with the client on a monthly basis.
* Maintain good working relationships with clients.
* Protect the company's interests under the contract.
* Administer commercial obligations per the contract.
* Review subcontract documents.
* Monitor and maintain KPIs for the company and client.
* Chair subcontractor commercial meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in cost build-up and project forecasting.
* Compile and submit monthly payment applications.
* Monitor and challenge change controls with Project Managers.
* Conduct commercial bid analysis of subcontract/supply prices.
* Process monthly subcontractor payment certificates.
* Prepare final accounting at project completion.
* Support project team on commercial and contractual matters.
* Update and manage monthly cash flow reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Industry-recognized Qualification in Quantity Surveying.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in medium to large water industry projects.
* Experience managing change control/variations.
* Proven ability in budget control.
