Are you an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist ready to make a meaningful difference in adults' lives? We’re seeking a dynamic OT to join a fast-paced, high-performing Adults, Health & Integration service in Merseyside. You’ll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on delivering life-changing interventions through assessments for complex equipment, major adaptations, and moving & handling risk evaluations. ️ In This Role, You Will:
1. Conduct strengths-based assessments in line with the Care Act 2014
2. Work in partnership with adults and carers to ensure needs are understood and met
3. Recommend, demonstrate, and coordinate the provision of equipment and home adaptations
4. Collaborate with health professionals, voluntary organisations, and community resources
5. Manage a varied and demanding caseload, balancing professional judgement with council policy
6. Take ownership of your professional development and CPD in line with Allied Health Professions Council standards
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring compassion, critical thinking, and a passion for practical problem-solving. You must have:
7. A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
8. HCPC registration and 2+ years post-qualification experience
9. Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, including disability rights and the Care Act
10. ️ Experience in major adaptations, moving and handling, or complex needs (including paediatrics)
11. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential car user allowance payable)
12. Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team
13. Confidence conducting home visits and assessing environmental risks
