We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join a respected financial services company in Wilmslow. You’ll support the finance team with day-to-day accounting and reporting tasks, ensuring accuracy across loan books, invoices and reconciliations.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll process transactions, maintain financial records and assist with management reporting. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business as well as external stakeholders, helping to keep everything running smoothly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Process sales and purchase invoices in Sage 50
Post receipts, payments, and financial transactions
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate customer and supplier accounts
Update loan books and prepare statements of account
Assist with month-end, year-end, and management reports
Support investor and quarterly reporting
Liaise with internal teams, clients, and auditors
Ensure compliance with financial controls and regulationsWhat We’re Looking For
AAT Level 4 qualified (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and a love for accuracy
Confident using Sage 50 or similar accounting software

£27,000 – £30,000 salary plus discretionary annual bonus
