Role Overview As Food Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Food Technology department. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients and equipment for lessons, ensuring food hygiene standards are met at all times, and maintaining a safe, clean and organised teaching environment. You will work closely with teaching staff to ensure lessons are well resourced and ready for delivery. Your duties will include setting up practical sessions, managing stock and ordering supplies, washing and storing equipment, monitoring food safety procedures, and supporting students during practical lessons when required. You will also help with displays, inventory management, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
