Job Description:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our growing Defence team. As an Account Manager you will ensure TVS delivers excellent customer service, innovation and cost-down opportunities to the client, whilst maximising revenue and profit for TVS SCS. You will lead on contract growth opportunities, including support to wider business development activities, including contract negotiation and pricing considerations.
As the internal voice of the customer, the account manager will identify and challenge the effectiveness of business processes which underpin contract performance taking the lead internally to drive the continuous improvement across all business functions.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· To be responsible for assigned Customer Accounts, ensuring excellent Customer service including delivery of contract KPIs, whilst delivering value for the Client and maximising contract profit, revenue and cashflow for TVS
· To build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels and deliver flexible and innovative solutions to client’s operational issues; seeking and delivering account growth
· Responsible for understanding contract obligations and commercial risks to ensure compliance whilst identifying and mitigating risks through liaison and negotiation
· To deliver continuous improvement and cost-down opportunities to the client whilst maximising profit contribution to TVS SCS
· To lead growth and development activities from a commercial perspective, including understanding evaluation criteria / value creation and determining price to win strategy
