About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior/Principal Patient-Centered Oues Research Scientist to join our team for a 9-month contract. You will contribute to developing and implementing patient-centered measurement strategies, working closely with a diverse team of PCOR scientists and cross-functional stakeholders.
Summary of Tasks:As a Senior/Principal Patient-Centered Oues Research Scientist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
1. Development and/or strategic execution/implementation of patient-centered fit-for purpose measurement strategies throughout the drug development lifecycle. Including working in collaboration with study teams, global development teams and lifecycle teams
2. Collaborating with data science and operations experts on study start-up, monitoring and close out as it pertains to clinical oue assessments. This includes implementation of electronic clinical oue assessments (COAs), linguistic validation, user acceptance testing and file format specification review.
3. Assess the need to develop, evaluate, and/or successfully deploy new measurement tools to best capture the patient experience
4. Provide subject matter expertise in one or more areas of clinical trial delivery such as measurement/digital strategy, linguistic validation, eCOA, site and patient engagement related to COAs
Skills Required:
5. Education: Minimum of an MSc in Public Health, Psychology, or a related area (PhD preferred).
6. Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing patient-centered measurement strategies, and in the planning, execution and dissemination of patient-centered evidence. This experience can be gained in a pharmaceuticalpany or consultancy.
