Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team Service Manager
We are looking for two highly skilled and motivated individuals to lead our Rother & Wealden Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Teams as a result of our Trust-wide Community Transformation Programme. The transformation of community mental health services will bring local services together to work more collaboratively, including mental health, social care, primary care, and voluntary services.
Main duties of the job
The Neighbourhood Mental Health Teams are currently being established, which will bring together the existing primary care and VCSE service for mental health (Emotional Wellbeing Service), specialist community-based mental health services (Assessment and Treatment Service and Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Services), and Access Facilitators, to create a new multidisciplinary service. This presents a unique opportunity for someone to be an integral part of this change and the future development of the service.
About us
These teams will have strong connections with local voluntary, community, and social enterprise services, local authorities, social care, and other specialist services, such as Early Intervention in Psychosis Services, Perinatal Mental Health Services, and Specialist Older Adults Mental Health Services. This will enable improved and more joined-up care for people accessing services.
Job responsibilities
We are seeking someone with experience in managing change and developing services who can offer the team stability and consistency. You will work closely with other Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Team Service Managers and the wider leadership team, which provides excellent peer support.
