Quality Superviso r Pontefract (WF9 area) £29,328 per annum Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (some Saturdays and longer shifts may be required) We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to join a leading UK food manufacturer. This role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in ensuring high standards of food safety and product quality across a busy and fast-paced site. The Role As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5 Quality Controllers, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, customer specifications, and internal standards. You will monitor processes, support audits, and maintain documentation to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support a team of 4 Quality Controllers Conduct regular checks and inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products Perform label checks, equipment calibration, and sampling for lab analysis Carry out low-level audits (e.g., black bag audits) and maintain accurate records Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures are strictly followed Work closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and drive improvements About You Previous experience in a Quality role within food manufacturing (essential) Strong leadership and team management skills Good knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, BRC preferred) Excellent communication and problem-solving ability Flexible and able to adapt in a fast-moving production environment What's on Offer Competitive salary of £29,328 Monday – Friday working pattern (day shift) Opportunity to develop your career in a growing and supportive business If you're a hands-on Quality professional with leadership experience and a passion for maintaining high standards, we'd love to hear from you.
