This role is essential in ensuring high standards of quality and safety within the nuclear pipework projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting detailed inspections in line with CSWIP 3.2 standards
Performing Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using methods such as Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) and Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
Maintaining compliance with nuclear industry standards and regulations
Preparing and presenting detailed inspection reports
Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure effective implementation of inspection findings
Ensuring all inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated according to specifications
Identifying potential improvements in inspection processes
Job Requirements:
CSWIP 3.2 certification
Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) with DPI techniques
Current PCN Level 2 qualifications
Understanding and experience of MPI NDT methods
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to interpret complex technical documents and blueprints
Effective communication and team collaboration skills
Job Duration and Location:
Contract duration approx. 2 months
Initial location: Renfrew, then Alloa
Paid 50 hour week
£30/h PAYE plus £3.62/h holiday pay or £40.18/h Umb Co. Can go CIS.
