About this Role
The PA is a key ambassadorial role for Langley, managing communications and relationships with discretion and warmth, and ensuring the smooth running of the Head of Senior School's office.
Whilst this role requires a high degree of administrative and organisational competence, the successful candidate will also be adept in fostering strong, collaborative working relationships across the Exec Team, Senior Management Team and wider staff body. They will be responsible for promoting Langley's values of kindness, confidence, integrity, and curiosity – in all interactions.
Maintaining a calm, professional demeanour whilst operating in a dynamic working environment, this individual will exercise sound judgement and emotional intelligence, all the while contributing to the warm, family feel of Langley, by championing whole-school events and initiatives. Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail
* High levels of discretion, diplomacy and emotional intelligence
* Ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and digital tools
* A strong interest in education and pupil development
* Ability to establish rapport and maintain successful relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Desirable:
* Experience working in an independent school or educational setting
* Familiarity with safeguarding and compliance procedures
* Event planning or project coordination experience
* An understanding of school governance and inspection frameworks
